Scented Nail Enamel

Considering Revlon is one of my Favorite Nail Brands since forever, I could not pass up trying out their new Parfumerie™ Scented Nail Enamel for many reasons. The most obvious reason being that Revlon has always been by "go-to" Nail Brand choice and has never let me done. The second most important reason why I had to try it, was that I am always looking for products with a slight fragrance to it. I rarely get to wear perfume due to the chance of getting a migraine, so I am always looking for ways to wear scents without wearing a heavy perfume.

Here is the Skinny on the Nail Enamel from Revlon:

Vibrant, shiny shades go on smoothly for flawless color and than dry to light, irresistible fragrances.

I chose the shade "Beachy" because it's Golden Brown Shimmery tone will be perfect for F/W, yet it's beachy scent will be uplifting for the cold harsh months to come. It will be remind me of what is to come, winter beach holidays and than finally the end of winter!

I love the Packaging of this Nail Enamel, just like a Perfume!

This nail polish went on perfect, I did not had to redo one nail! I love how it has a shorter handle, it actually made it easier for me to paint my nails. The brush was also a tiny bit smaller than the normal Revlon brushes, I think this this also made it easier for me to get into the sides of my of my nails and do a better job. The nail polish dried quickly and left the most beautiful shade, exactly as pictured in the bottle.

I believe there are 24 shades (scents) to pick from and they all looked gorgeous. They range in a variety of beautiful colors and scents. You will definitely be able to find what you are looking for and they will look so beautiful on your vanity. This is most definitely a nail polish to display!

"110 Beachy"  is such a Beautiful Golden Brown with a Slight Shimmer!

Update: I wore this polish for a full 7 days before it started to wear and chip. I believe this to be outstanding considering the polish does not claim to be long lasting. My nails are not the strongest, so I was very impressed and will definitely be buying more!

Final Thoughts:

I am so happy that I bought this nail enamel. It does not have an overwhelming scent at all. I am not sure how long it is going to last because I have only had it on for a day (I will update). It just leaves a very light subtle scent. It is not like wearing a perfume, wear people are going to smell it when you pass by or when you leave the room. It is just perfect, if you are looking for a light subtle scent. I am very sensitive to scents and it does not bother me at all! I hope that you enjoyed this post and it helped you, if you are looking for a new and unique nail polish. Don't be thrown off by the scent because it is really quite subtle. I am more in love with the bottle, how well it went on, and how beautiful the shades are.

I have been using this Primer on and off for months and I really like it how it works as a primer under my Cargo Liquid Foundation (Blog Coming) and any other foundation I have. It really helped during the summer to keep the shine off my face and to make my foundation look even better. I recently started to use it more often because I was reading about all of the benefits that it provides. I had been wanting to find a primer that had anti aging benefits and here I had one all the time. I thought it only made since to start using it more often to obtain it's benefits quicker. So I have been trying to use it every time I wear a foundation. The problem is that I do not wear foundation everyday, so I decided to try to apply it over my skin care even on some days when I am not wearing a full face. This is working out great because it leaves my skin with a subtle yet radiant glow. I am really beginning to see a overall improvement to my skin. I have to admit that I do not have the worst skin, but I will take any help I can get. I truly believe that taking these extra steps like finding a primer that not only makes your foundation look and stay on better but improves you skin's overall appearance is very beneficial and can only help. Why not use a primer that has built in benefits to improve your skin?!

Final Thoughts:

I think this is a very good primer for anyone, especially anyone looking for a primer that is Silicone Free! Silicone in primers are NOT GOOD for people with Acne Prone skin. Oily Skin and silicone products are not a good combination. I think this Primer would be excellent for anyone that is prone to acne or oily skin. I really hoped you enjoyed this post and I hope it helped out anyone looking for an anti-aging primer, silicone free primer, or just a new really good primer to try out!

Would You Rather? The Beauty Edition Tag!!

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?

Lose Palettes and Eyeshadow! My "Must Haves" are mascara and lip gloss. I could use a dark brown eyeliner to fill in my brows and lipstick for a hint of blush. I would just improvise as much as I could. 

 2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?

Chop it off because it would regrow and than I would not have hair down to my ankles when I am 90!! (hopefully) 

3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?

I am assuming this means with makeup. If so, pink! I don't look that well with coral tones unless I am tan.

4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?

Clothes, not even a second thought...

5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?

Eyeliner as lipstick. That could easily be done with the right color but eventually my lips would get dry..:( I could not use lipstick on my eyes, it would irritate them.

6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

I would have to say Sephora because they are a great Company and have a vast variety. There would be a lot of products I would miss though!

7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?

I would have to say lip because I enjoy doing my eyes the best and use on average three different colors on my eyes when I do them! I would just pick my favorite nude for my lips and deal with it.

8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?

I hate being cold so I would pick winter clothes in the summer and just wear the bare minimum and cut off the sleeves of the tops and cut off the pant legs to make shorts..;)

9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?

 I would pick dark because I usually pick colors based of my mood. It is fall right now and getting cold and dark early. Blah!!

10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?

Lip product because I am assuming that it can be an skin care. I can't live without my Favorite eye cream! Plus, I could possibly use it on my lips too...

11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?

That's a tough one!!! Wait!!! I had to chop my hair off in the earlier question, therefore this can't be answered!

12.) Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?

Never paint my nails. I would just use Nail Art Stickers!

13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?

Lol....If I shaved them, they would grow back (EVENTUALLY)!!! So I guess Shave. There is no way I am walking around looking like Graucho Marx....

14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?

Nail Polish.....
