Cargo Activating Face Primer

Cargo blu_ray
High Definition Make-Up
Activating Face Primer

Cargo makes some Amazing products and one of my Stand Out Favorites of many is the Activating Face Primer.

Here is the Skinny on the Activating Face Primer from Cargo:

A light-weight and comfortable oil-free and silicone-free primer. Does not leave a heavy, oily or 'mask' type feeling that most primers do.
All the glow, none of the shine! CARGO's blu_ray Activating Face Primer reduces shine, refines pores and visibly reduces wrinkles. This revolutionary formula is silicone-free and paraben-free. See results in an instant. See better looking skin in 30 days. Clinically proven.
Clinically Proven Results:
95% of subjects reported smoother looking skin.
Fine lines, blemishes and imperfections are immediately less visible.

I have been using this Primer on and off for months and I really like it how it works as a primer under my Cargo Liquid Foundation (Blog Coming) and any other foundation I have. It really helped during the summer to keep the shine off my face and to make my foundation look even better. I recently started to use it more often because I was reading about all of the benefits that it provides. I had been wanting to find a primer that had anti aging benefits and here I had one all the time. I thought it only made since to start using it more often to obtain it's benefits quicker. So I have been trying to use it every time I wear a foundation. The problem is that I do not wear foundation everyday, so I decided to try to apply it over my skin care even on some days when I am not wearing a full face. This is working out great because it leaves my skin with a subtle yet radiant glow. I am really beginning to see a overall improvement to my skin. I have to admit that I do not have the worst skin, but I will take any help I can get. I truly believe that taking these extra steps like finding a primer that not only makes your foundation look and stay on better but improves you skin's overall appearance is very beneficial and can only help. Why not use a primer that has built in benefits to improve your skin?!

The Primer On My Skin and what it looks like.
It goes on so smoothly and feels so refreshing!

Final Thoughts:

I think this is a very good primer for anyone, especially anyone looking for a primer that is Silicone Free! Silicone in primers are NOT GOOD for people with Acne Prone skin. Oily Skin and silicone products are not a good combination. I think this Primer would be excellent for anyone that is prone to acne or oily skin. I really hoped you enjoyed this post and I hope it helped out anyone looking for an anti-aging primer, silicone free primer, or just a new really good primer to try out!

Would You Rather? The Beauty Edition Tag!!

I was tagged by both Gorgeous Gals Ashley @ and The Makeup Squid @ to do this Tag.

Thank You...;)

1.) Would you rather lose all of your mascaras, eyeliners, lipsticks, and lip glosses or lose all of your palettes and eye shadows?

Lose Palettes and Eyeshadow! My "Must Haves" are mascara and lip gloss. I could use a dark brown eyeliner to fill in my brows and lipstick for a hint of blush. I would just improvise as much as I could.

2.) Would you rather chop off all your hair or never be able to cut it again?

Chop it off because it would regrow and than I would not have hair down to my ankles when I am 90!! (hopefully)

3.) Would you rather have a coral cheek or a pink cheek?

I am assuming this means with makeup. If so, pink! I don't look that well with coral tones unless I am tan.

4.) If you had $1000 to spend, would you rather buy clothes or makeup?

Clothes, not even a second thought...

5.) Would you rather apply lipstick as eyeliner, or eyeliner as lipstick?

Eyeliner as lipstick. That could easily be done with the right color but eventually my lips would get dry..:( I could not use lipstick on my eyes, it would irritate them.

6.) Would you rather only shop at MAC or Sephora?

I would have to say Sephora because they are a great Company and have a vast variety. There would be a lot of products I would miss though!

7.) Would you rather only use one eyeshadow color or one lip color for the rest of your life?

I would have to say lip because I enjoy doing my eyes the best and use on average three different colors on my eyes when I do them! I would just pick my favorite nude for my lips and deal with it.

8.) Would you rather wear winter clothes in summer or summer clothes in winter?

I hate being cold so I would pick winter clothes in the summer and just wear the bare minimum and cut off the sleeves of the tops and cut off the pant legs to make shorts..;)

9.) Would you rather have dark nails or bright nails all year round?

I would pick dark because I usually pick colors based of my mood. It is fall right now and getting cold and dark early. Blah!!

10.) Would you rather give up your favorite lip product or your favorite eye product?

Lip product because I am assuming that it can be an skin care. I can't live without my Favorite eye cream! Plus, I could possibly use it on my lips too...

11.) Would you rather only be able to wear your hair in a ponytail or a messy bun?

That's a tough one!!! Wait!!! I had to chop my hair off in the earlier question, therefore this can't be answered!

12.) Would you rather never be able to paint your nails again or never use lip gloss?

Never paint my nails. I would just use Nail Art Stickers!

13.) Would you rather shave your eyebrows and have none at all or sharpie them in everyday?

Lol....If I shaved them, they would grow back (EVENTUALLY)!!! So I guess Shave. There is no way I am walking around looking like Graucho Marx....

14.) Would you rather live without makeup or nail polish?

Nail Polish.....

Well this was fun and

The next person I tag to do this hilarious tag is...

Ina @

and whomever else would like to to do it.....:)

MAC Stroke of Midnight Holiday Sets

MAC Cosmetics Stroke of Midnight Collection
Eye, Lip & Brush Kits

The night belongs to you, and your look has no limits. M•A•C Stroke of Midnight Bags and Kits contain all you need from dusk till dawn. Make an entrance with colour-coordinated sets for eyes and lips while Brush Kits help you achieve flawless skin with professional results. Limited-edition Stroke of Midnight packaging. Pro discount is not applicable.

I was so excited to purchase some of MAC's Holiday sets this year, because previous years I had waited too long. So this year, I made a vow that it was going to be different. I headed to the store weeks before it would be available, checked it out, made my list and pre-ordered it. I was so proud of myself! I am not going to go into the details of the entire "Stroke of Midnight" collection, because that all can be found on MAC's website in it's full glory. I am going to show you what I bought, what is included from MAC, and why I chose these kits from the whole collection.

Stoke of Midnight Eye Bag - "Gold"

The Double Ended Brush in this set has a mini 239!!

Includes: In Extreme Dimension Lash, Fluidline in Blitz & Glitz, Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Genuine Treasure and the Double-Ended 209 Eye Liner/239SE Eye Shader Brush. Limited-edition black Stroke of Midnight bag features a chic graphic white pattern, elegantly edged with gold piping.

The Eye Bag Comes in Nude, Gold and Violet.

I bought this eye bag in Gold because the Nude bag was lovely, but a bit too nude for me. The paint pot in the Nude bag is much more Nude in person. Don't get me wrong, the nude bag is lovely and would make a great addition to your collection or as a gift. I plan on wearing these colors to Holiday events, so I was looking for something with a little "Holiday Vibe" to it. So I chose the Gold bag for a little more Holiday Jazz. I did not choose the Violet bag, because I can have allergic reactions to purple due to the red dye used to make it. The Violet bag was so beautiful that it would have been a shame to go to waste.

Extreme Dimension Lash Brush Head. It has a great end to
get the corners of your lashes!

"Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Genuine Treasure" "Fluidline in Blitz & Glitz"

Swatched:"Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Genuine Treasure"
"Fluidline in Blitz & Glitz"
Perfect Combination to Created a Bronzed Golden Holiday Eye Look!

Stroke of Midnight Lip Bag - Violet

I love how the makeup packaging matches the Bag that comes with each set!

Includes: Sumptuous shades of Cremesheen Glass in Art of Seduction, Lipstick in Dark Deed and Lip Pencil in Vino. Limited-edition black Stroke of Midnight bag features a chic graphic white pattern, elegantly edged with gold piping.

This Lip Bag comes in Nude and Violet.

I chose the Violet bag because once again I was looking for colors with a little more pop for the holidays. The nude lip bag was very tempting, since nude shades are my favorite. I was sold on the Violet bag since I cannot wear the shade often on my eyes and the Cremesheen Lip Glass that comes with it has a very nude tone to it. So it was like I got a pop of color with the lipstick and a nude with the lip glass by choosing the Violet. The lip pencil that comes with it matches the lipstick perfectly!

Swatched "Cremesheen Glass in Art of Seduction"
"Amplified Lipstick in Dark Deed" "Lip Pencil in Vino"

Stoke of Midnight Brush Kit - Essentials

Achieve flawless skin with professional results. Includes 168SE Large Angled Contour Brush, 217SE Blending Brush, 212SE Flat Definer Brush, 239SE Eye Shader Brush and 193SE Angled Foundation Brush. Limited-edition black Stroke of Midnight bag features a chic graphic white pattern, elegantly edged with gold piping.

The Brush Kit comes in Mineralize, Essentials or Smokey.

I chose the Essentials brush kit because it made sense for many reasons. I like the brushes the best that came in this kit due to the variety and the fact that I think they would used the most. This kit contains three of my favorite MAC brushes. I plan on using this kit when traveling, so it will be perfect considering I use those brushes a lot. These brushes in a smaller version make them perfect for traveling with the included matching bag. I was very tempted by the Mineralize kit for its face and eye brushes. It contains a smaller 187 (another one of my favorites) and I love it. The Smokey kit was amazing as well, it has just the right brushes to create the perfect smokey eye. I wish I could have bought them all!

168SE, 193SE, 239SE, 217SE, 212SE

Final Thoughts:

I think these Eye, Lip and Brush Kits are perfect! They would be perfect for you or to give as a gift for the up and coming holiday season. There is also so much more to the Stroke of Midnight Collection that can be bought on MAC's website such as Lip and Cheek Bags, Eye Kits, Face Palettes and so much more. I hope you enjoyed this post and a little bit of the Stoke of Midnight Collection.

Maybelline Color Elixir by Color Sensational

Color Elixir by Color Sensational
By Maybelline

Instantly Intrigued by the Packaging!

I was instantly mesmerized by the beauty of this lipgloss when I first saw it. I was in awe of the packaging and what it promised. To be a lipgloss/lip treatment that feels cushioning on your lips while it still delivers color and high shine gloss.

Here is the Skinny on the Color Elixir by Color Sensational from Maybelline:

Fall under the spell of the elixir effect
Hyper-saturated color, ultra cushiony feel
The new hypnotic lip sensation

Look how the bottom looks like a Lipstick!

This lipgloss feels so good going on, it almost feels like a lip treatment. It feels like a lip gloss and treatment in one. It feels soft and very very cushiony. I think those truly are the best words to describe how it feels going on. The feeling does not go away quick either, it last for quite a while. It also leaves a very glossy looking effect to you lips. I only bought the Color Elixir in one color because I was not sure if it was going to deliver, but I will be definitely going back for more. There are 20 shades to chose from, which means 19 more for me to pick from and 20 for you. I will update this post once I purchase more with swatches of more colors. I decided to play it safe with the first color I picked and get a very pretty beige nude for the Fall. You can never go wrong with a beige nude.

I love these types of applicators.
The really help with precision and getting right
up into the cupids bow of your lip!
"60 Nude Illusion" Swatched
I had to get the right lighting to show the true color.
It looks a tad orange in the previous pictures!
I had too many Lights on!
Update: As promised, I went back for more shades and I would like to share them with you!! I definitely think they are worth the money and will be such a treat this winter! The winter and cold weather tends to dry out lips more often and I felt these were an investment in my lips. These Hybrid Lip Gloss/Lip Balms will be just what I will be grabbing for in those harsh cold months!

Still in Love with the Packaging!

Top to Bottom: "075 Fuchsia Flourish" "050 Caviar Couture"
"100 Petal Plush" "045 Amethyst Potion"
Swatched:  "075 Fuchsia Flourish" "050 Caviar Couture"
"100 Petal Plush" "045 Amethyst Potion"

Very Pigmented!! I love how these lip gloss/balms look the same color in the tube on your lips!!

Final Thoughts:

I am so excited to share these with you. I think this lip gloss was a steal for under 8 dollars for all the benefits it includes and how good it feels on your lips. Please let me know if you have tried the Color Elixir and if you like them. I am loving them and I know your lips will love them too.

Mally Ultimate Performance Dream Brow

Mally Ultimate Performance Dream Brow with Brush

I love how Easy she makes her Products!

This eyebrow product is unlike anything that I have ever used. I usually use either a twist up eyebrow pencil, a waxed eyebrow pencil, or an angled brush with eye shadow to enhance my brows. What I use really depends on how much time I have, what look I am going for and my mood. There are many unique qualities to all the eyebrow pencils and techniques that I use. I should really do a separate post on them and how they differ and the uniqueness to each. So let me tell you about my new favorite eyebrow defining tool that I am currently loving, Mally Ultimate Performance Dream Brow.

Mally makes it so easy for you!
It comes in an easy portable pot
with an amazing double sided brush!

Here is the Skinny on Mally Ultimate Performance Dream Brow Fix from Mally on QVC:

What is it: A long-wearing formula that illuminates, shapes, and creates a fuller-looking brow. Ultimate Brow Fix is formulated with special radiant pigments to help bring brows to life. The included double-ended brush is a professional-quality tool that helps create the perfect arches.
Who is it for: Any woman who wants beautiful, full-looking eyebrows that frame her face.
Why is it different: This magic Ultimate Brow Fix not only fills in your brows with beautiful, natural-looking color, but it also thickens each individual brow hair upon contact to hold brows in place all day long!
How do I use it: First, take the spoolie end of the brush and brush your brows upward so they are all in place. Then, take the angled brush end and dip it into the product--a little goes a long way. Using short upward strokes, brush the product through your brows.
Dream Brown Fix Comes in Taupe, a blondish-gray shade; Medium Brown; or Sable, a deep blackish-brown shade.

I think Mally Ultimate Performance Dream Brow Fix is truly a dream. I have never come across a brow enhancer so unique. It comes in a pot that has a nice tight lid, so it won't dry out. I have come across many brow products that have dried out that have either come in compacts or palettes. This Brow Fix is so easy to use! I use the double-ended brush that it comes with to very gently pat the product to pick some of it onto the brush and apply it to my brows. You only need the smallest amount, so start with just a tiny amount of product and add more if needed. I give my brows a good brush though first with the spoolie or any brow brush and than again after I have applied it. I like to let it set a few minutes before I brush though it again to perfect the shape. I apply it in small light upward strokes to my brows and just follow my natural brow. I do not try to make each brow identical, I just focus on the fact that one is not an inch longer than the other.

I also wanted to mention the pigmentation of this product. It is very pigmented and it lasts all day. You can draw in missing areas of your eyebrows if they are sparse or add on to you tail and it will stay all day! Nothing is going to mess up your brow look until you take it off. It is also very easy to remove with my face cleanser considering it's staying power.

Dream Brow Swatched in Sable. Perfect for when my hair is dark brown.
I will be buying Medium Brown for when it has not been colored!

Final Thoughts:

This Dream Brow Fix is truly a Dream! I would recommend it for anyone, especial for someone who is looking for a brow enhancer who has sparse brows or is looking for staying power! I hope you enjoyed this post and I hope that you try this out and let me know what you think.

It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation

It Cosmetics by Jamie Kern Anti-Aging Celebration Foundation with Brush
Innovative Technology Cosmetics

This post is on a very Unique Foundation. I have been using it on and off for almost two months now and I am really enjoying it. I have been meaning to post on it and I was watching the "QVC 2013 Customer Choice Beauty Awards" last night and it Won "Best Foundation." That is a huge honor considering all of the wonderful foundations that are available on QVC and the fact the Award is based on Customer Picks! It has thousands of reviews alone on QVC.

Celebration Foundation in "Medium Beige"

Here is the Skinny on Celebration Foundation from It Cosmetics:

What is it: Rich in peptides, hydrolyzed collagen, and antiaging technology, Celebration Foundation is a full-coverage, antiaging foundation that gives you the power to achieve flawless, airbrushed complexion perfection! It delivers highly pigmented coverage that will never crease or crack and is designed not only to cover, but also to make skin appear younger. The antiaging technology gives you an airbrushed finish that looks and feels like silk. It absorbs oil and shine without settling into lines and wrinkles. The Heavenly Luxe Buffing Airbrush Foundation Brush is the most ultra-luxe, ultra-plush tool for perfect airbrushed application.
Who is it for: Anyone who wants the power to achieve her most beautiful skin ever! Anyone who wants the antiaging benefits of hydrolyzed collagen, peptides, antioxidants, hyaluronic acid, rose, aloe, niacin, and silk. Anyone who wants to instantly conceal imperfections, diffuse the look of lines and wrinkles on the face, blur away pores from view, and achieve a more radiant-looking, airbrushed complexion.
Why is it different: Using antiaging ingredients--including hydrolyzed collagen, peptides, antioxidants, grape seed oil, olive oil, hyaluronic acid, rose, aloe, niacin, silk, and vitamins A, C, and E--this foundation helps treat skin with antiaging benefits and give more youthful radiance while completely concealing imperfections and blurring away the look of pores, fine lines, and wrinkles. The creamy, crease-proof powder foundation glides on easily and lasts. It's formulated without talc, parabens, sodium lauryl sulfate, mineral oil, petrolatum, synthetic fragrance, and phthalates.
How do I use it: Using the brush or enclosed sponge, swirl circles in powder. Dust onto skin in circular motions for a naturally flawless, soft-focus finish. A small amount goes a long way.

I think this foundation is very unique and lovely. It feels very nice on the skin and lasts all day. Although it comes in a powder form, it does feel drying, it does not cake or settle into any lines. I love the fact that unlike a lot of powder formulas, it is Talc and Paraben Free.

This foundation is widely know to help people who are suffering from Rosacea, Hyperpigmentation or those who have acne scars. One of the best parts about it, is that it goes on so quickly. You can literally do you entire face in under a minute with the included brush. How great is that for days you wake up late or you just don't feel like fussing with makeup. You can even use it underneath your eyes to cover dark circles and why not with all the amazing anti-aging ingredient that it contains. I can see why this Foundation took three years to come out and that the founder  "Jamie Kern" worked with Plastic Surgeons to find the exact perfect formula before she released it.

"Medium Beige Swatched"
I have never swatched a Foundation that Covered my Freckles so well!
The Brush that come with it!
Contains over 80,000 Soft Hairs Alone!

Final Thoughts:

I think this foundation is lovely. Although, I do not suffer from what the foundation works best on, I love wearing it and knowing all the anti-aging ingredients that is used in it. I also wanted to share that the brush that comes with it is worth upwards of $40 dollars alone, and is made with over 80,000 hairs. It is so soft to the touch and works great. I hope this post helps anyone who is looking for a foundation that suffers from any of those condition or is just looking for a new foundation to use that is fast, fabulous, and full of anti-aging ingredient. Here is the link to the foundation and videos about it if you are interested$uslarge$

The Sunshine Award

What is The Sunshine Award? The Sunshine Award is "Given to those who inspire us and bring 'Sunshine' into our lives."

There are a few simple rules for the Sunshine Award:
*Include Award Logo in or on your blog post.
*Link to the person who nominated you
*Answer 10 questions about yourself
*Nominate other bloggers to give this award to

Hello my Beautiful Readers:

I was given this award by the Amazing and Beautiful Ashley over at
She is not just into Beauty Blogging, but music, singing, poetry and so much more. Check her out!

The questions!

1. What made you start blogging and why?

I have been obsessed with makeup, fashion and skincare since I can can't even remember. It's not just about reviewing products to me but sharing what I have learned. I also love how it keeps my mind busy. When I blog, I am distracted and it takes my mind off daily stressors. So I get to write about what I love and de-stress for a bit.

2. When did you first wear makeup?

I was probably allowed to wear makeup around 12 or 13. I did secretly wear it before hand, I was quite the I was not allowed to wear nail polish until I was maybe 15.

3. What are your Fall go-to makeup colors?

Eyes: Lots of Bronzed Golden Tones, Taupes, Coppers, Cranberry, Plums.
Face: I really don't switch up my face besides Deeper Blush Tones and more Bronzer..;)
Lips: Deeper shades of lipstick/gloss.

4. Where is your favorite place to relax?

With my animals out in the country, where I am most at peace.

 5. Who's your favorite beauty guru?

Wayne Goss. There is just something about him (besides his extraordinary talent) that says to me "I will never sell out"!

6. Where is your dream vacation?

Me at a luxe spa resort for 10 days. Anywhere that is warm with an ocean breeze!!

7. If you were on a deserted island, what beauty items would you have?

Moisturizer, SPF, Chapstick, Facial Hydrating Mist Spray, 8 hour Cream.

8. What is the one thing you like about blogging the most?

Keeps my mind busy.

9. Favorite Fall treat?

Pumpkin Muffies from Panera.

10. What is your dream job? Why?

Economist with the Federal Reserve. Why, cause I am a geek in hiding. I could write up an equation to prove whether or not a product has been accurately reviewed depending on the type of product. The problem being there are so many different products and what truly is the correct measure of time needed to test each one for a fair review. Well you could probably write up an equation to solve that problem too, but lets not get that serious or nerdy here. Like my favorite Makeup Guru says "It's Just Makeup"....

Thank You again to Ashley at Ciao Bella for the Sunshine Award. I wish I could give it back to her because she is such a sweetheart!

I give this Award too.....

Klaudia @
Ina @

I also give it too everyone out there who has not done this Award yet, because you all Inspire Me to keep Blogging in the Sunshine!!

Sik Glam

My Questions are:

1. Who is your favorite Celebrity, that you think has the best all around makeup look?

2. Do you feel the desire to darken you hair in the F/W?

3. What is your favorite thing to do in the Fall that you can't do in the Summer?

4. Besides a Makeup Guru, name one person who inspires you in life?

5. What is your Favorite Fall Scent?

6. Do you prefer healed or flat boots?

7. If you could not beauty blog, what would you pick to blog about? (Can't be Fashion, Skincare, or Lifestyle)

8. Would you rather own a skincare or makeup line?

9. What beauty product/device would you pick for a Christmas present, if you could pick anything?

10. What makes you feel most beautiful?

Welcome again to another installment of Luxe Friday and this is a special one! Can we really get any more Luxe than a collaboration with Marchesa and Revlon. I want to express my excitement and pure joy when I was at CVS and saw these appliqués, the biggest smile came upon my face. I am the Biggest Fan of Marchesa and of Georgina Chapman. I think she is a woman to look up to in so many ways. If I met her, I would probably be speechless. I have met a few famous people in my life and I don't get "starstruck". When I look up to somebody and admire them, it's a whole different story. When her line "Pearl by Georgina Chapman of Marchesa" first came to JCPenny, I was so thrilled. I was the first one there when it launched trying on everything, taking pictures and of course buying many wonderful outfits. I am going to be wearing one of the Blazer/Shorts Combination Suits this weekend, so stay tuned for my First Fashion Blog including that outfit. Now on to the Nail Art.

Here is the Skinny on the Nail Art from Revlon:

This limited edition collection of intricate, textured nail appliques is inspired by couture house Marchesa’s signature designs.
Available in 8 red-carpet ready shades at Walgreens, CVS, and select retailers nationwide through Fall 2013.

1. Select the size that best fits nail.
2. Applique should not touch skin or cuticle. Press applique firmly over entire surface of nail.
3. Fold remaining applique over natural tip and remove excess material by filing in a sideways motion in one direction.

The Eight Shades:

Marchesa’s elegant eveningwear, inspired by vintage silhouettes with a modern aesthetic was co-founded by Georgina Chapman and Kere Craig in 2004. The company’s namesake and muse is the noted eccentric European style icon, Marchesa Luisa Casati. With Casati’s vision of fashion meets art in mind, Chapman has paired her expertise in design and draping to craft collections with both distinctive and iconic style.
British natives Chapman and Craig met at Chelsea College of Art and Design in London. Chapman, a 2001 graduate of the Wimbledon School of Art, began her career as a costume designer. Craig graduated from Brighton Art College in 2000 and subsequently focused on print and embroidery design.

"When we were first approached by Revlon about a potential collaboration, Keren and I were really excited about the chance to partner with an iconic brand that believes, as we do, in making a woman feel beautiful while remaining true to herself. Through Revlon’s incredible global reach, we will be able to bring a little piece of Marchesa to women around the world," said Georgina Chapman, Marchesa Co-Founder and Designer.

Here are the Three Nail Art Designs that I purchased:

I only just recently purchased the nail art so I have only worn "Royal Burgundy" for about a day. So far they have stayed on perfectly and have not peeled or chipped at all. I have worn many nail art stickers that have pealed within hours so this is a good sign. I cannot wait to show them off this weekend. I also find the designs to be so beautiful that I almost do not want to wear the rest. I already know that I am going to have to go and buy more, because these designs are just way to beautiful to only wear once. This collaboration is very special to me and I want to experience it as much as I can.

Easy to Apply Directions on Back.
I had absolutely no problem following the easy to apply directions on the back of the box. It even comes with a mini nail file, buffer and cuticle stick. I did try out both and they worked great! Including these items, make these appliqués so travel friendly.

Comes with 18 Appliques in Various Sizes to Fit Your Nails.
Also Includes Mini File, Buffer, and Cuticle Stick.
    Perfect for Traveling.
Oh My! My Exact Revlon by Marchesa Appliqués
spotted in my InStyle Magazine's September Fall Fashion Issue.
    Soooo Marchesa!
    Final Thoughts:

These Nail Art 3d Jewel Appliqués are so beautiful, but I would not expect anything less from Marchesa. How fabulous is it to say that you are wearing Marchesa on your nails. I honestly think these are the most beautiful nail art designs that I have ever seen. I really hope that they do a winter collection. I hope that you enjoyed this post and I hope that you dress up your nails with a little Marchesa soon.

I wanted to let you know that the Appliques lasted me a full week. I wore them a full 7 days before I removed them. I could of probably even wore them a few more days. They were just beginning to slightly chip at the top edge, where I am the roughest with my nails. I am very impressed with how long they lasted and the quality from beginning to end. They were also very easy to remove, I grabbed an edge of the appliqué and pealed them off. That was it! I also wanted to mention the numerous compliments that I received on them, but I wasn't suprised. I can't wait to wear another design!

Bed Bath and Beyond Face Values Foaming Hand Soap

    Harmon Face Values
    Foaming Hand Wash

Available at Bed, Bath and Beyond

This might seem like a silly post because it is on a hand wash and by no means is the packaging glamorous or even unique, but it is by far the best foaming hand wash I have ever used. I used to use liquid hand soap years ago, but than I switched to foaming hand wash and never looked back. The only thing about liquid hand wash that I did miss, was the feeling that you got after using it. That it really cleansed your hands because of a more direct contact with your hands and the liquid soap. Unlike liquid soap, foaming hand soap is more of a different feeling, it is very foamy and airy. You just pump the foam, rub it on you hands and rinse. I was at Bed Bath and Beyond a few weeks ago and I picked up some "Face Values" Foaming Hand Wash in the Harmon Beauty/Health Section. There was really no reason for the purchase besides the fact that I was almost out of hand soap and knew it was on my list.

Much more Creamier than your usual Foaming Soap!

I purchased the Qt size so that I could refill all my bathrooms soap dispensers. I got home and refilled my master bathroom first and had to pull it back out from under the sink to make sure I had bought the correct soap. I knew I had bought hand soap, but I could not believe how creamy yet still foaming the hand soap was. It had a much thicker, creamier and luxurious feeling to it. It left my hands feeling much cleaner after. I will never go back to buying any other brand of foaming hand soap. I love it so much that I am hoarding it in my master bathroom (where I wash my hands most) until I buy more.

    Final Thoughts:

I know this post is just on hand soap, but we have to remember to take care of our hands for many reasons. The more I wash my hands, the more I put hand cream on. It's kind of a ritual that I do together. The more moisturized you keep your hands, the younger looking they are going to look. It is especially important to get into the habit of frequently washing your hands this time of year, the flu season. It is not only important to wash your hands frequently to keep yourself from getting sick, but also to stop the spread of germs. I hope this post helped if you are looking for a new hand soap to try out that is of great quality at a great price. Most of all, I hope it reminds you to wash you hands this flu season so you and others don't get sick.

COVERGIRL The Hunger Games Catching Fire The Capitol Makeup Collection

COVERGIRL has created a Collection based on the looks in the Much Anticipated up and coming movie "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" based on the second book in the trilogy. In this new movie, it has been six months since Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark won the Seventy-Fourth Hunger Games. The Hunger games are an annual event in which each district in Panem sends one female and one male to fight to the death in a televised competition for food and money. Every victor must than go on a Victory Tour and visit each district to celebrate their win. Before leaving for the tour, Katniss finds President Snow, the leader, waiting to speak with her. I won't tell you the rest to spoil it, but here is a link to the trailer for the movie if you want a sneak peak.

Now on to the Looks that were Created for the "Capitol Collection". There are 12 different looks that were inspired by each District. There is a link added to each look for how to achieve it. The links include inspirations, how to videos, before and afters, and what you would need to recreate the look. It is Amazing just to watch the videos and get inspired!

    District 1 "The Luxury Look"

    The District Looks:

    District 1 "The Luxury Look"
    District 2 "The Masonry Look"
    District 3 "The Technology Look"
    District 4 "The Fishing Look"
    District 5 "The Power Look"
    District 6 "The Transportation Look"
    District 7 "The Lumber Look"
    District 8 "The Textiles Look"
    District 9 "The Grain Look"
    District 10 "The Livestock Look"
District 11 " The Agriculture Look"
District 12 " The Coal Mining Look"

Here is what I bought from the Collection with a description from COVERGIRL and my thoughts:

    Flamed Up Mega Curl Mascara:

Flamed Out Mega Curl Mascara in Very Black Blaze
    • Max curl and volume instantly
    • Curl Igniter brush adds volume and curl to every lash
    • Smudge and flake resistant
This mascara does everything that it promises. It instantly curled my eye lashes and the curl kept up nicely during the day. It never smudged or budged and was easy to remove. It also did not clump and the brush wand was easy to use.

The Brush wand: It is a bit short and thick, but I had no
    trouble using it at all!
    Flamed Out Shadow Pencil:

Flamed Out Shadow Pencil: "Gold Flame 330" & "Silver Flame 300"
    • Gel shadow and liner in one
    • Ten hot, blendable shades
    • Creamy formula for smooth application

I like using these Shadow Pencils as either a bold thick liner or as a shadow. I think they work best when used over eyeshadow to pop their color. When I wore them plain, just over an eye primer, I had to really layer the pencil to get the color to pop. I have to say even when wore plain, the Gold Flame was still very pretty on my eyes as a more muted tone.

    Lipslicks Smoochies Sizzle Gloss:

Smoochies Sizzle Gloss in "Glow For It 556"
    • Sheer color, moisture, and shimmer shine
    • 100% smoochable lips
    • In 12 irresistible shades

I have to say this gloss and the next nail polishes were by far my favorite from the collection. I love this Gloss So Much! It is the most beautiful color especially for fall, it goes on so well and it is so Pigmented. Usually I do not get much color from glosses that come in these types of tubes, so I was extremely surprised! I will definitely be going back for more Smoochies. I just love the name too!!

"Gold Flame" Shadow Pencil, "Silver Flame" Shadow Pencil,
"Glow For it" Smoochies Sizzle Gloss Swatched

    Outlast Stay Brilliant Nail Glosstinis:

This Limited Edition Glosstinis Colors  are Amazing!
    "Sulfur Blaze 600" & "Seared Bronze 630"
    • Limited edition colors
    • Perfectly portable size
    • Glossy color lasting up to one week
I love these little mini nail polishes. I bought four of the limited edition colors from the Collection so I will post on the other two colors once I use them. I can't say enough about how much fun they are to put on and wear. There is a slight trick when painting to create the look. You have to apply two coats on one Glosstini, followed by a matte Outlast Stay Brilliant coat on the top half of your nails (matte polish pictured in back), finish by applying the other Glosstini just in between the matte shade and your cuticle. It seems tricky reading it, but it wasn't.

    The Two Glosstini Colors on!
    Final Thoughts:

I love the COVERGIRL Capital Collection!! I was so impressed with the Glosstinis and Smoochies Sizzle Gloss that I literally want to run out right now and buy more. I have also recently discovered that they are also nail stickers in the collection, so hopefully I will be getting those too. I hope that you enjoyed this post, the COVERGIRL Capitol Collection and I hope that you are excited for the "Hunger Games: Catching Fire" Movie in Theaters November 22!!
